Southampton Airport is a small airport located in Eastleigh, near Southampton, England. Southampton Airport is administered by the British Airports Authority (BAA), as is the case with several other British airports. In 2007, the airport served 1,965,686 passengers, and has just one runway.
Supposedly constructed over what was an ancient Roman villa, Southampton Airport opened for commercial aviation in 1932, and flights have continued ever since.

Southampton Airport is linked by rail through the Southampton Airport (Parkway) station, with a trip to Southampton Central taking around eight minutes. The U1C, 14 and 14A bus services run from the airport to Southampton city centre. By road, the airport is located close to the junction of the M3 and M27 motorways, which link it to Southampton. Of course, taxis are always readily available outside the terminal building.

Dusseldorf International Airport
Dusseldorf International airport is the third largest airport in Germany. In 2007, 17.8 million passengers used the airport. The airport opened in 1927, and has expanded and improved almost constantly ever since, with notable events including the opening of the “Fernbahnhof Dusseldorf Flughafen”, or Dusseldorf airport’s railway station, and the Skytrain monorail opening in 2002.
Finally, it is worth noting that Dusseldorf is fully equipped to handle the new Airbus A380 aircraft, and is the back up airport to Frankfurt for this aircraft in bad weather.

Long term parking should cost roughly 78 Euros for two weeks, and nearly all the car parks are connected to the aforementioned Skytrain monorail to get you to your terminal building. As mentioned above, Dusseldorf has its own railway station, which has links to the city centre station. The bus station is also located in front of central arrivals, and there are many services including the 760 and SB51 that run into the city.
