Norwich Airport

Norwich International Airport is an airport located in the suburbs of Norwich, in Norfolk. The airport has been in use as a civil airport since the late 1960s, and today the airport hosts a lot of helicopter traffic going to oil rigs in the North Sea.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, sometimes known as Roissy Airport, is one of the world’s foremost aviation centres, being among the busiest airports in Europe and second only to London Heathrow in terms of passenger numbers in Europe. It is also France’s principal airport. Construction on the airport began in 1966, and the airport opened in 1974 and soon established itself as a major European airport. Future plans are ongoing, including refinements to the existing structure and the building of a new terminal, 2G.

Transport links to Paris

The Roissy bus is an extremely easy and popular way of getting into Paris, and costs roughly €9, the trip taking an hour at most, dependant on traffic. The bus company Noctilien also runs services into Paris, the service numbers being N120, N121 and, at night, N140. Finally, taxis are in plentiful supply around the airport, with a trip to central Paris costing approximately €50.

There are business and conference facilities, including roomy meeting rooms, offices and a VIP lounge in terminal 1 at Charles de Gaulle. Also, terminal 2 has facilities, and there is widely available internet access across the entire airport.
