Manchester Airport (MAN)

Manchester Airport is the third largest airport in the United Kingdom. The Airport is located at Ringway in the city of Manchester. There are three terminals all connected by a Skylink moving walkway system. Flybe is a major operator from terminal 3 flying to twenty-one destinations. All terminals have restaurants, fast food outlets and café and bars serving snacks. ATMs and bureau de change are available , wireless internet access is also offered along with various shops.

Transport Links

The Station provides an interchange system for the airport bringing bus, coach and rail passengers all under one roof. There is a 24 hour bus service called Skyline which goes half hourly to Manchester City Centre. The railway station is connected to the airport via the skylink walk way. Taxi ranks are situated outside all three terminals. Short stay and long stay car parks are available at all three terminals, a discount is offered if booked in advance on line.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)

Charles de Gaulle Airport also known as Paris Roissy, is the second busiest passenger airport in Europe subsequent to London Heathrow. There are three terminals all connected by the new CDGVAL airport metro line. All terminals offer customers an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and shopping, wireless internet access is available, so is mobile phone rental.

Transport at Paris Airport

23km / 14 miles northeast of Paris, there are numerous transport links to the capital city. Charles de Gaulle is served by RER rapid TGV trains, frequent RATP buses, coaches and taxi services. Each terminal has a car park with access to the terminal by use of a lift. There is a free airport shuttle bus provided from the long term car parks. By road the airport can be approached on the A1 via Porte de la Chapelle. Alternatively, take the A3 via Porte de Bagnolet and then join the A1 following signposts for the airport.
