Isle of Man Airport (IOM)

The airport is situated south of the island, 11km/6.9 miles southwest of Douglas.
There is one terminal providing ATMs in the main entrance lobby, facilities for wireless internet access are available in the departure lounge and buffet areas.
Shopping at the airport is limited; Skylines store provides a full range of newspapers, magazines, books, gifts, confectionary and tobacco. There is a meeting room which can be booked during normal office hours.

Bus services are provided to Douglas and other destinations half hourly at peak times with an hourly frequency there after. The Isle of Man railway service stops at Ronaldsway request stop and gives passengers the unique opportunity to travel to or from the airport using a steam locomotive.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA)

The airport is situated 13km/8 miles southeast of Liverpool adjacent to the Mersey Estuary and is one of Britain’s oldest airports. One terminal provides the traveler with an array of shops including duty free, fashion clothing, shoes and accessories. Restaurants can be found on level 3 from the Aintree Food Village. The Airport also works closely with the arts world and local community displaying public art and exhibitions. There is a souvenir shop offering a large range of Liverpool mementos especially items from the two major football teams. High speed wireless internet access is provided by The Cloud and can connect you to a range of services including many of the major mobile phone providers. There are five currency exchange bureaus situated throughout the terminal and many ATM’s.

Transport Links at Liverpool Airport

Liverpool South Parkway train station provides trains to the airport with three to four departures per hour. Bus links are very frequent linking the terminal with Liverpool city centre. Taxis are located outside the terminal entrance. Many of the national car hire companies currently operate from the airport.
