Flybe Bases
Flybe currently operates multiple flight routes from 14 UK airports. Flybe also operates flights from more UK airports than any other airline in the UK. At present you can book a Fly Be flight from 38 different airports in England (18,)Scotland (15), Wales (1) and Northern Ireland (1), as well as flights from the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

Whilst the majority of Flybe flights are formed of Domestic routes, the airline also flies to 32 destinations in Europe, which accounts for approx 25% of the Flybe.com route network.
With the recent order to expand the Flybe fleet with up to 140 new aircraft, the airline is well placed to continue its expansion as Europe’s Largest Regional Airline.

Guernsey is set to see the 1st of the new Flybe aircraft ordered this week.
Flybe have announced that the 1st of the new E-175 jets ordered this week will fly on an upgraded Guernsey to London Gatwick route.
Delivery of the first of its 35 new 88-seat Embraer-175 jet aircraft will be in Spring 2011 and will ensure that travellers from Guernsey the 1st to benefit from newest aircraft in the Flybe fleet.
The decision has been taken to satisfy the long-standing demand for the return of a jet service on this important route on which Flybe will offer up to eight convenient and affordable flights a day from the Island.

Mike Rutter, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer says: “We’ve pulled out all the stops with Embraer, our aircraft manufacturers, to bring forward the delivery of the first of our new E-175 jets so that we can base an aircraft in Guernsey.
This means our Guernsey passengers can be the very first to benefit from our newly announced multi-billion pound investment with Embraer”

Whilst the early headlines at the Farnborough Air Show have been dominated by the big orders placed with Boeing and Airbus; Embraer have also been busy announcing new orders.
Foremost among these new orders has been Flybe’s for 35 aircraft. The order for thirty five 88-seat Embraer 175 has a list price of $1.3 billion. Options were placed on further 65 aircraft. The order will secure the place of Flybe as Europe’s largest regional carrier
Flybe Chief Executive Officer Jim French said in a statement. “It perfectly fits the Flybe business model. Flybe will continue with a dual fleet strategy under which it currently operates 14 Embraer 195 jets and more than 50 Bombardier Inc. Q400 turboprop planes”

Newquay to Isle of Man flights

Flybe has commenced flights on a new route with flights from Newquay in Cornwall to the Isle of Man. Flights will operate twice weekly on a Wednesday and a Saturday. Flight times will be approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. Fares start from £34.99 one way including taxes.

The route is expected to be popular with both business and leisure travellers. The route increases the number of Flybe routes from Newquay to 3 and the number of destinations from the Isle of Man to 10. Book flights on the Isle of Man to Newquay route now at Flybe.

Leeds to London Gatwick

Flybe have moved to fill the gap left by the withdrawal of the Leeds Bradford to London Heathrow by British Midland. Flybe have announced the introduction of a 3 times daily service from Leeds Airport to London Gatwick Airport. The new route will commence on June 29th of this year. Fares on the new route will start from only £24.99 one way including taxes. The service will operate flights in the morning, afternoon and the evening giving passengers greater flexibility in their travel arrangements. Weekend services will offer 2 flights a day. The new route builds on Flybe’s ever expanding from both Leeds and Gatwick airports.

Gatwick to Newquay flights

Flybe are celebrating the successful launch of their new London Gatwick to Newquay route with a fantastic special offer.
